Twilight photo of the remake of a small ranch house in Orinda. The owners wanted steeper roofs and more traditional detailing as well as a bigger house. One third of the old house was saved and re-roofed to match new construction. Those foundations that remained were reinforced with piers to modern specifications. So they have, in essence, a new house.
